NMAAHC Lift Every Voice - The Public Works of Sargent Johnson

The NMAAHC Year-Long Celebration! is presented in celebration of the Grand Opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the 19th museum of the Smithsonian Institution and is located at the foot of the Washington Monument on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The museum provides for the collection, study, and establishment of programs and exhibitions related to African American life, history, art, and culture. It is a place where people can learn about the richness and diversity of the African American experience; it is a place of meaning, memory, reflection, laughter, and hope.

The views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this NMAAHC Grand Opening Celebration! do not necessarily represent those of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

I am proud to announce that my photography exhibition, "The Public Works of Sargent Johnson", will be shown in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in association with the new and historic Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture (NMAAHC). Details can be found on my Calendar page. Free tickets for this public event can be reserved at the following link:
