Metal Works
Original UltraChrome print on stainless steel in museum quality frame with museum glass. It features a custom mixed iridescent coating that serves to stabilize the ink as well as add dimension to the printed image.
This image represents my personal emergence as an artist, even though the person in the image is not me. It incorporates emotions and techniques, new and old, into one composite whole. For the longest time, I never thought of myself as an artist even though other people did. This represents my acceptance of myself as an artist with quality work to share and finally emerging from the underground into the open. It also shows some of my skills in different disciplines such as conceptualization, photography, digital compositing and printing.
